I wrote previously about how the Crest came to be wrecked off Kebock Head on the Isle of Lewis and thought that I’d add a couple of links.

Wandering & Wondering 
The lighthouse at Kebock Head is referred to as Milaid Light and was installed in 1912. Further mariners’ info can be seen on http://bit.ly/9cQ1GO. The Northern Lighthouse Board http://www.nlb.org.uk have very limited info on this light. It is mentioned in the lead-up to the sinking of HMY Iolaire in 1919.
Many thanks for the info. Using it I have now found another photo of the light – http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/799804 – and a page of NLB images too – http://www.geograph.org.uk/gallery/lighthouses_8677 – two of which appear to be to the same modern cuboidal design.
